  • Campus Map (pdf). Locations of NSB-1 (Building 128 in sector B10) and Bonner Hall (Building 131 in sector C10) are outlined in red.
  • Parking on UCSD's Campus - To put it mildly, parking on campus is difficult. There is no parking adjacent to either NSB-1 or Bonner Hall except for deliveries (20 minute zone just North of NSB-1). Here is some info that should help:
    • The Visitors' Information Center on the Gilman Drive entrance to the campus sells parking passes for $8 a day (Exact bills or credit card). The Center is building 880 in sector E11 of the pdf map or on the campus interactive map. This is the most flexible form of parking and the attendant can give you directions to the various lots UCSD short term parking info .
    • If you get a parking pass the most convenient parking lots are P103 and P102 off of Scholars Drive South or the Muir Lot off of Torrey Pines Road and Muir College Drive.
    • Parking meters - There are a limited number of meters on campus and they fill up fairly early in the morning. The meters closest to the labs are in lots P104, P106, and P113 in Revell College, lots P201, P202, and P206 in Muir College, and lot P606 in the School of Medicine.
    • Limited meter parking is also available in the Pangea Parking Structure (Building 435, sector B5) and in the Gilman Parking Structure (Building 783, sector G9). Both are about 10 minutes walk from the Baker facilities.
    • Parking is usually available until about 9:30 a.m., and then again in late afternoon, during the school year. Finding open spots during the middle of the day may be difficult.
  • The Campus Loop Shuttle runs every 8 minutes around some of the parking lots and other numerous spots on campus
  • Here's the official UCSD Visitors' Guide and the Visitor Parking Guide for more info.
  • Coming from The Scripps Research Institute or Burnham Institute? Another option might be to take the Metropolitan Transit Systems "Breeze Route" #101 bus.
